Cookie Policy

Every cookie we set, why it is set, and how to turn off the ones that are optional.

Last updated 30 July 2026

The short version

We set the minimum number of cookies the service needs to work, and nothing for advertising. There are no third-party tracking pixels, no ad networks, and nothing that follows you to other sites.

You can reject everything that is not strictly necessary and the product still works exactly the same. The only thing you lose is our ability to see which parts of the site people struggle with.

Strictly necessary

These cannot be switched off, because without them you cannot sign in or be charged correctly. Under UK and EU law they do not require consent.

  • Session cookie: keeps you signed in. Set by our authentication layer, HttpOnly, and readable only by the server.
  • CSRF token: proves a form submission came from our own page and not from a third-party site.
  • Your cookie choice itself: so we do not ask again on every visit.
  • Theme and language preferences: stored in your browser, never sent to us.

Analytics

Optional, and off unless you accept them. We record a small, fixed set of steps — for example, that someone reached the Enterprise enquiry form, or submitted it — so we can tell which parts of the product work.

The identifier attached to those steps is a random value generated in your browser. It is not derived from your IP address, your device, or anything about you, and it exists only to join the steps of one visit together. Clearing your browser storage discards it permanently.

We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable third-party product, and no analytics data leaves our own infrastructure.

Cookies set by Stripe

When you reach the payment step, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and to detect fraud. These are strictly necessary for taking a payment: without them Stripe cannot tell a genuine customer from a stolen card.

Stripe is an independent controller for that data. Their cookie notice governs it, and it is worth reading if you want the detail.

Changing your mind

Your choice is stored in your browser and remembered. You can change it at any time from the link in the footer, and the change takes effect immediately.

Rejecting analytics stops any new events being recorded. It does not delete events already recorded, because those carry no identifier that could be traced back to you.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the GPC signal, analytics stay off and we do not ask you again.
